Dear Dr. Rick and anyone else who has moved with braces on;

I thought that I would be done with braces before I moved but it looks like I will need more time. I plan to talk to my ortho guy when I get a chance but I thought I would ask how much would it cost to continue on with the braces after the move.

I am in CA and will be moving to Jacksonville, FL and I have the Damon (sp?) or speed braces as they are sometimes called and I wanted to know what cherges people had to pay to switch ortho's and Dr. rick if you can give me a broad outlie of fees that could be charged on eith the coming or going dentist's office.

I know I will have to pay more but about how much?

I am almost 100% positive that when I get to Jacksonville it woul be at most 2 more vistits at 6-8 weeks each and then a permantent retainer. Not sure if thta matters but that just means whoever gets me as a patient would not have me as one for very long just enough to do a change and then the retainer.

ANyone done this? How much were you chargered by either office? Dr. Rick any thoughs?

Thank You!

Elias

PS I of course will call my guy next week to find out as he does not know yet and I have an appointment in a month..
