Hi this has prob. been covered before but i didn't have time to look,
I am a 19 year old college student ,currently a little depressed about having braces :( , I have majroe questios about my treatment and my ortho never seems to have the time to explain what he's doing at each appt (does anyone else have this problem?).
I got my braces on a year ago, had my 4 bicuspids extracted, the extraction gaps were Almost closed with power chains and now i have two elastics one on each side that are moving my upper bicupid tooth, but now there is another gap forming between that one and the teeth right next to my two front teeth! How is this gap going to close, which tooth is going to move to close this?
Also, i only had a slight overbite before and its almost closed, how long will I have to wear these elastics? My ortho had originally told me 2 and a half years, but if this is the progress, maybe I'll get them off earlier? what do you think?? Help!!!!! I am on the verge of giving up!
