Hi, I am curious about something...
I got my braces on 2 and a half weeks ago, and my ortho also put these things he called 'turbos' on the backs of my top front 2 teeth. They are almost like little brackets. The reason my ortho put them on is because I have a very deep bite, and if i didn't have these turbos I would involuntarily bite my bottom brackets off because my top teeth almost completely cover my bottom teeth. I had no discomfort from these turbos at first (and as a result, no questions) but now I wake up every morning with my tongue stuck underneath them and huge painful dents in the tip of it, and I have a very hard time making 'c' and 's' sounds. I'm curious if anyone else on here has had these turbos (I looked on google and could not find one bit of information about them), and also if you had them on for the whole time as your braces?? My ortho didn't mention how long they would be on for, but I'm hoping they come off asap!
