In my ortho's office, canines and molars come with the hooks built in. That's all I have them on. If you need them on bicuspids, etc, he has a different set he gets them out of. I guess it depends on what brand and what set your ortho uses and buys.

I AM annoyed by the headgear tubes.. they are built in on the molars, too, and I did NOT need them. They were just extra things sticking out there to poke me...
