I know what you're going through. I had four premolars extracted last year, and I'm having two molars extracted tomorrow.

The freezing will wear off soon. Maybe you can try taking painkillers with a bit of water or some soft food. I stocked up on soup, pudding and yogourt in preparation for tomorrow's extractions.
