Hi Brad, I did not think I could afford braces either. But at age 36 I realized I had to do it for me. Someone told me to call the local college. They have a dental program. So I did... They told me it was $2,600 for the braces, with $500 down and $88 a month.. no interest either... they do not take insurance... you give up some of your time though for the lower cost... the visits take longer than a regular dentist. I have had all my dental work done there, even the extractions... having 4 teeth pulled was $250.00... compared to almost $400 another dentist was telling me it would cost. The only thing is I had my wisdom teeth out in December.. my regular health insurance was supposed to cover it.. but denied it.. so I am fighting them over that bill...

Good Luck, even when I did finally decide to do the braces, it was almost 6 months before they actually went on.. and it went fast.

As I understand it, the flex account will cover about
