Brad, I too was going to have to wait till January because of the flex plan. Our HR director said you could only turn it in for the year in which they were PLACED. My ortho finance lady said she works with flex plans all the time and bills for the only the amount that will be PAID that year, and they turn it in and get approved. I double checked my company HR, and he finally said OK, if they billed it that way, and if they stated that there was a need other than cosmetic (overbite, alignment, extractions, etc) So, I am getting this next week. My downpayment and payment for this year will not get counted, since I am already out of my allotment for this year. But next year I will add what I am planning to pay for next year to the flex plan.
Check it out this way, maybe they will agree to do it.
I know I was anxious to get started too. Plus, I didn't think I could afford to pay it all back in one year anyway.
