I'm not saying that it's something everyone needs, I'm just saying that since I got braces and started grinding my teeth which wore down some of the enamel, it 'fills in' the enamel and works great for sensitive teeth!
I never heard of it myself until 8 months ago, and I've never seen it marketed. I just mentioned it in case someone else has the same problem! It works much better than Sensidyne for extreme sensitivity, and I wanted to pass it on because most people have never heard of it!
Why it was prescribed: My dentist prescribed it after I first went to another dentist with a "toothache", that dentist said they didn't see anything that should cause that much pain, but a tooth that had a cavity could use a root canal. Root Canal!?! So I went to another dentist that couldn't find anything wrong, either. She asked if I grind my teeth at night. I said yes, and she said that I don't need a root canal or anything, but that I've worn down the enamel on the chewing surfaces of my back teeth and needed to seal the enamel back up. She prescribed the toothpaste, which worked great, instead of doing more costly procedures, so I've been using her as my family dentist ever since.

>strength toothpaste that everything is ok as is?

>that you start to believe that you need every
>toothpaste, mouthwash, rinse, floss, appliance out
>there or you will have horrible oral health!
>It is confusing...
