I'm going ahead with my orthodontic agenda.

After all the research, reading, quoting and whatnot, I finally settled on a friendly orthodontist that is very close to my work and took the record appointment two weeks ago. (Kiss C$400 goodbye!)

Today I went in for the detailed consultation, and the ortho placed 6 spacers in my back molars, as well as an extraction letter in my hand so my family dentist can pull the right teeth for him. Four is going out for me. The spacers are a bit uncomfortable, but not unexpected.

Because I need one week to heal after extraction, my braces are scheduled to go on on Sep 10th.

On a side note, my ortho does know about Wilckodontics but thinks it could kill teeth by moving them too fast. He haven't heard of Dr. Rick's handywork though.

Wish me luck with my venture.
