Would it be twice the money to get top and bottom at the same time? I dunno -- if it were me, I think when the bottom braces came off, I'd be admiring the spectacular lower teeth, then look at those top canines and say, "Dang, why didn't I get those canines fixed while I had the chance?" But then your level of perfectionism may differ from mine.
