The only person who can really answer this for you is an orthodontist. You should be aware, however, that Invisalign has limited applicability and certainly doesn't work for everyone. There are a number of people on here who investigated it as an option and found they couldn't have it.

Find out EXACTLY what your cousin's friend has and why they're wearing it, then ask an orthodontist if it's something that's appropriate for you. You may find, though, that braces are your best choice... but it's good to investigate all options.
