Let me start by saying I'm 22 and got braced up a year ago. I have all metal brackets because that's all I could afford. I was really self concious about it originally and I didn't go out or date for the first two months. I started going out again, but it was really embarrising everytime I went out with my girlfriends I would get stopped for my ID at the door, then the bartenders would inevitably ID me again cus they didn't believe I got the wristband. Anyway it took me about 3 months to find a man that didn't care I was living the nightmare of every teenager. We started dating (by dating I mean sleeping with each other). This went on for awhile till my next horror came - headgear. To make a long story short, one morning I woke up in my usual puddle of drool (damned headgear) and short a man that was in the bed the night before. He doesn't return my phone calls...and I don't go out anymore.
