Hey. I'm 17 years old (a Junior in High School) and am supposed to be getting braces (for the second time)here pretty soon. I had them previously from 3rd-6th grade and it was an awful experience (my orthodontist had no bedside manner and I had to have so much done ex: herbst appliance, pallat expander, powerchain, braces, it never ended) and right now I have an overbite and need it corrected. I'm really nervous about going back into them, High school is an important time and I'm afraid I will get a lot of criticism, all of my friends have already had theirs off for a year or two at least. Any advice..?
