Wow, its been a few months since I last visited this site as well :)
I actually have the same problem.....acne started on my chin AFTER the braces were put on. I was told by both my orth and dermatologist that its because when you have braces, you tend to drool alot, specifically in your sleep. The bacteria from your mouth gets on yur face, clogging up pores, ect.
As for the creams/pills that dermatologists prescribe....none of them really worked so I took a chance and got proactive. That stuff is awesome!
Within about a week all the acne is gone.
