hi an congrats , i'm 47 an have full metal braces upper an lower an combination headgear that i wear 12 to 14 hours a day, you get use to the headgear but takes a few weeks , an sleeping in it takes a bit getting use to but i have had mine so long i sleep fine now an realy feel funny not wearing it , i even wear mine to work , the braces can make you speak funny for a few days but thats no biggie eather , hope this helps , joseph r
