Hello!
I'm glad things seem to be going well for you. My teeth were pretty sore for the first few days, I'm on my 4th day in braces right now and things are pretty good! My tongue was rubbed raw in one spot and I had some canker sore like things on the insides of my cheeks, but today I don't feel anything. Wax was my best friend :) ...I have ceramics on my top and metals on my bottom, and I think some people notice, but they're not extremely obvious, so it's good.
