First, it's strange that you would go in so soon after banding and bonding.

Yes, I'd have to say it's normal. When they're adding the ligatures, it can be a little painful. But your teeth are still sore from the the initial banding, even if you can't tell.

In two weeks, I think things will be better and it will be less painful. If it hurts, tell the assistant and (s)he can be more gentle.
