I have had braces for one month, I have pretty full lips already. I have bucky teeth and over bit and funny ripply chin, this caused me to hardly ever close my mouth. For the first couple of weeks it was hard to close my lips and now its easier than before, even with great big brackets in the way, the movement is astounding, Even though my smile was funny I was never really ashamed of it, I was kinda worried that my amile would be normal and boring when I get my braces off coz I was so used to people saying you have such a big smile, anyway I am noticing that its not just the asthetics but the functionality of having straighter teeth that will be the real benefit and my big lips and wide smile will still be around just my teeth will be better.
