I am so glad I looked on this website... After I had my braces on 6 days ago I left the orthodontists having been told nothing about what I could/could not eat, how to brush, what to expect etc etc. My mouth has been killing for days now. My teeth felt as though they were not sitting right (in my 150th examination of the day I actually convinced myself that my teeth were closing up rather than spacing out) and I couldn't press my molars down at all. I have been so hungry for days.
And then the mouth ulcers started.
I have so wanted to just get them taken out too but know I will regret it forever. When will my lisp disappear? When will I stop checking my brace is still there with my tongue?? When will I stop moaning about my braces!!

I will not be defeated!
