Subject: Visit Frequency towards the end of treatment?

Has anyone experienced an increase in the frequency of their visits towards the end of their treatment? I have heard that when it gets down to the fine tuning of certain teeth, patients may have to go in every couple of weeks rather than every 4 or 5 weeks.

I'm about 1 year into my treatment, and my estimated total treatment time is 18 to 20 months. So far, my appointments have always been 5 or 6 weeks apart. For the first 6 months, I noticed drastic changes in my bite and the rotation of certain teeth. Since then I've noticed very little change. It almost makes me with my appointments were more frequent, so that I would notice more change.

Thanks,
Tom
