Tuesday was the big day, I got them on, top and bottom, top are ceramic and bottom metal.
The discomfort isnt't so bad, I knew what to expect thanks to all you kind folks, and I was prepared to apply lots of wax and taking advil etc. I am eating just fine, I make sure food is in small pieces and I eat away. I won't confine myself to yogurt or shakes, the teeth hurt, but I put food in my mouth anyway and numb it around and then swallow. Not too bad.
I took 2 days off work, so I could adjust and get used to the new look before I had to make my appearence at work. I must say, I can't help but have a big metal smile, I am not embarrassed at all, mostly proud. Everyone is very supportive and I am so excited I got to this point. I can't wait for the changes.
