Ahhh Joanne, your progress gives me hope that I will have a gappy smile soon (never thought *I* would ever say that), as that will surely herald the end of the first chapter of this brace story. I’m hoping for a short story and not the trilogy of lord of the rings.

Out of curiosity, did your braces give you more pressure on the side of the good canine? My left side is hurting a bunch. It feels like my permanent canine is being crushed against the adjacent tooth. I can’t even floss in between there as there is no room for the floss to get through – even the really thin kind.

My adjustment is in three weeks where I get the “real” arch wire – I think it’s thicker? If the pressure on this one tooth gets worse I’m going to suck it up and call the dentist.
