Hi Paul
I got my spacers (uppers only) a week ago and the second day was when I noticed some pain chewing. So I've stayed away from most chewy/sticky things and hasn't been awful. I'm getting full metals too mainly because of the cost of the ceramics, plus my dentist says the ceramics are bulkier than the metal bracket he uses and might be less comfortable. I hadn't thought about the color but if they're a little yellow they'd have blended in with my teeth just fine! Welcome and good luck!
