They advised that I could lose it whether I have orthodontics or not. It is a tooth that was surgically exposed because it would not erupt. I think the forces on it caused root resorption. What kind of treatment did you have for your molar? This is external root resorption I have; I'm told a root canal only works for internal root resorption. Can you give more details? Thanks.I am 46.
