I had one of my front bottom teeth extracted, so now there's an odd number (3). My bottom row of teeth will eventually be lined up with a tooth right in the middle. That doesn't bother me at all, as long as they're all straight and nicely lined up. But if the idea of it bothers you, then definitely ask your ortho.
