Hmm. Then perhaps you should ask him for some contacts of other patients of his who have shown TMJ syptoms that he's helped alleviate. You can contact them and find out the extent of their pain and such.

I'm not sure what else you could do, but Dr. Rick has told us about one of his patients who flies all the way to Ohio from California to see Dr. Rick. Obviously, I don't think distance should be any determining factor when getting the best health care possible, especially since you're in so much discomfort.
