Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if having the wisdom teeth removed would have any effect on my orthodontic treatment. I think I am going to see my regular dentist about the impacted wisdom teeth and have him refer me to an oral surgeon. I must say though, I want to have my wisdom teeth extracted about as much as I want a hole in my head lol. I should add that I also have TMJ so the combination of that, braces, and impacted wisdom teeth makes for a pretty nasty constant headache. Since I got these braces on I feel like a real sucker for punishment. At least if I get the wisdom teeth out that should eliminate *some* of my problem. Wish me luck!
