Absolutely not!
In fact, I think this would be a great opportunity for you to become a braceface. What if those problems are putting your teeth at risk? I do know that you're too young for dentures, and I know you don't want those.
There are a lot of people present here that are older than you. There are plenty of people your age getting braces.
Don't fret. Schedule a couple consults and such. See what the orthodontists say. Pick the orthodontist you're most comfortable with.
I believe I read a news article that was posted on the front page about someone in their 80s or 90s getting braces. I THINK it was 82, but it may have bene younger. Regardless, he was older than you.
