I've heard of people saying the ceramics make their teeth look "dirty". I'm assuming it's the contrast between the clear/white ceramic and the coloring of the teeth. I've also heard not to use whitening toothpastes because you obviously can't whiten under the brackets. But under the brackets are also not going to get stained, so I can't imagine why it would be so bad. I do know that when mine come off, I'm having them professionally whitening, so it won't matter much then. Sorry I'm really no help though :)
