On my right side, I have an elastic from my canine to the second to last bracket (third molar in); and on my left, I have the elastic start on the last bracket (second molar in); wraps underneath the next bracket (third molar in) and then up to the canine. It's supposed to help pull that last molar upwards a bit to help with my bite (or lack thereof).
