She was upset; give her a break. Braces are a big deal at 16. They're a big deal at any age - just ask anyone else on the forum. Most of us had to think long and hard about getting braces and we all had hesitations, fears and insecurities. This forum is meant to be a place where you can share those fears with people who understand, and hopefully a place where you can get some reassurance and support.
