In the works in the usa is a group working to put up a statue of the USA and World Champion racer from the turn of the century Major Taylor.

quite an inspirational spirit and top notch cyclist.
There are several tracks in the USA and Bike Clubs using his name in tribute to the man.
I hope this helps.
I believe another group moved his body from an earlier paupers graveyard (fellow cyclists and fans)and put a monument up to him at the new resting place also.
