How time changes

Two days ago I watched "The Passage" with James Mason, Antony Quin and Malkolm McDowell. First time I saw this movie very long ago and remember that I was impressed at the time and found it interesting, but now I saw it with other eyes. It seemed to me absolutely worthless. The primitive characters, resembling walking puppets, the primitive scenario, far from real life and without any deep thoughts, cliches, occurring in each war movie with scenes of cruelty.
