Hi Bryce, the header designed for the stock steering box has good access and clearance for the spark plugs. 90 or 45 degree boots should work fine. We clear the stock steering box and frame with no problem, even power steering, but the motor needs to be in the correct position. We designed the header using small block frame stands for the front motor mounts. Do not try to use big block frame stands, they move the motor towards the passenger side too far and will cause fit problems!!! As long as the motor is in the correct position you can use solid side motor mounts or motor plates. If you have any questions or need help to determine which frame stands you have give me a call @ 805-239-8998. Also there is a previous message from "BIG AL" dated
01-19-02 on our message board that discusses this subject if you want to read it. Thanks again, Dan Lemons.
