We have a 502/502 GM crate, with a performer RPM+950HP Holley, bumped up 10.0-1 compression,229/236 duration-569/587 lift Hyd roller, in a 3600 lb chevelle 30 inch tire, 3.89 rear, and the converter flashes at 4250 rpm. It runs 10.7/123 mph now. the heads are stock GM 502 alum. This is a street legal car,but it is mostly raced.Trying different shift points, it runs best shifting at 5300. What do you think would be the best header combo, with and without 3.5 inch mufflers. Please, No ground dragging on the street. Also, any other help on getting this closer to the NINES. WE've thought about a NOS system, any help would be nice.
