Hi Rick, thanks for the e-mail. The 2" tube size is just about right with your combination and moderate RPM range.
I assume you are only changing the heads. If you feel that the car has plenty of torque and is starting to flatten out at the top end, then you may want to step the header, 2" X
2 1/8" with 4" collector, or change your exhaust system to 4 1/2" to help scavenge. Keep in mind the new heads will flow more air. If you can call me and give me a few more details on the car, 805-239-8998. We can make that header, any combination, $850. Thanks again, Dan Lemons.
