Hi Mark, If you are using mufflers, take them off and see if the car picks up. If your current header is a 2 1/8" tube with a 3 1/2" collector try cutting off the collector and installing a 4" collector to see if there is a change.
I suspect that you need a 2 1/8" stepped to a 2 1/4" tube with 4" collectors. If you plan to use nitrous in the future you could possibly use a 2 1/4" with 4" collectors and use an exhaust system to help build bottom end back into it. You haven't mentioned the size header you are using now, that would help me. Thanks again, Dan.
