whoops... just replied to this on the yahoo group... but will here as well... don't your dog need to have been 'declared as vicious'?? I would lay odds that any and all of the dogs they have ever had difficulty with attacking and being 'vicious' were not well trained dogs... 8 foot fences can be blown down... can be knocked down and can be dug up under, but the ONLY real protection against this sort of thing occuring is a well trained dog with a conscientious owner that doesn't allow it to BE a danger to others. How are they going to legislate that I wonder... mandating being responsible... rather than fences, maybe they need to do something about the PEOPLE... such as fines, and restricting THEM owning canines...
