The vixen of darkend gold pelt perks towers where she sleeps. A familiar scent is upon the wind. Skull raises, sharp ooids quickly scan her home and spots the beast. A smirk slips across her ebon' mug and she picks herself off the ground. Muscles still aslightly stiff from her previous battle. The two scratches on her side had healed, except a small line. She stepped in an easy trot over to the brute. Her delicate skull dipped lightly to him.

A little startled by her welcome, he said nothing for a long time. Only stared at what was once his little princess. She still was. Somewhere inside the lovely fem the brute saw before him was Daddy's little girl. He remember her as a filly and would always.

Deep voice finally emerged, "Hello, sweetheart." Orbs holding the calm yet wild sea gaze only upon her. She was like her mother in some ways. Yet he could still pick out very small details of himself in her. Had her mother's beauty, no doubt about that. The worn soul could only stare wistfully. His face was calm, neither angry nor sad nor joyful.

"Can you spare your old father some time, love? I would really like to talk to you." He said gently when he finally spoke again. Words came so tenderly and longingly. Looking into his eyes, you can see how worn he was. His latest battle did a number upon him. He had lived three lifetimes already, if not more, though only around ten years old. Two lifetimes under the Dark Master's thumb, one here on earth.
"I just need you for a little while, daughter. I just... need you..."
Starlight not in sight. Katie unable to fill the void. Shifter long dead... running out of time...

The vix was much like her golden mother in looks. Even in her protective nature to friends and family did she show her mother's blood. Her feiry nature like her father, both parents stubborn and with a temper to. Each of the two had tendicies that could be called "Evil". She seemed to have inherited each and every rebellious gene within them. Her gaze cast about for a moment, as if to look for a face. A bit of her own longing came into her muddied pools. As he spoke she turned back to him, her facade without emotion.

Invisible eyebrow raised at the steed's request. She would give him that though, she wasn't a cold hearted monster, not all the time. She stepped forward and headed towards the lands that was once dubbed Open Meadow. She turned back a moment, some sort of spark in her pools.

Alright, but only for awhile. Adrian has been captured, he's my friend and I am going to challenge for him soon.

She turned back her thick ebon' plume flickering out behind her as she picked up a two-beat trot, then paused. She turned again, a glimmer of reckless abandon her deadly ooids.

Race ya? No using wings..

A smirk worked its way across her features as a single thorn flicked. Awaiting an answer from the beast.

Jade dragon wings literally turn to nothing but green smoke and fade away on a soft breeze. He stood in what you could almost call a ‘normal’ form now, though he was far from normal. And regardless of the aging of his soul, his form was still fit enough. “See ya…” Familiar fire returns to those haunting orbs in a blaze unlike any other. Growing more intense than fire upon the sun.

Powerful limbs were set into terrible motion before he even breathed his two words. Ebony form shot past his daughter like Death’s black arrow. Flying without wings, flying swift and true.

Well…was she coming or not?

The fire touched form was quickly set into motion. As soon as the beast spoke she stirred her limbs into a swift gallop. Nails barely touched the ground as she flew after the beast. Skull lowered, thorns flat 'gainst her crown. Frame was drawn along side the beast, fire running through her veins as she kept pace with him, almost. The dark gold blurring as the colors seemed to melt with the shadows.

Onyx timbers o’ steel stretch forth as they never had before. Arch o’ iron extended. Every sinew thread was in motion effortless in his flight. He stayed at his daughter’s side. No farther ahead and no farther behind. The earth trembled beneath them. It roared and raced in the opposite way, fleeing the black arrow and the gold lance.
