He laughed. He started to re-think what he had previously thought of the stallion. "I came here from a wandering herd. Rebels suited me more than the goodies." His tone kept cool. "I was unaware that Adrian had a captive of the lights." He looked to the ground and brought his gaze back up. "Why do you speak so ill of your dam?"

Velvet ears perked at the sound of the news that an equine of the weaker state had been captured by the wicked force. A grin played across his lips and a sinister look flickered in his onyx eyes.

I did not mean to evesdrop, m'lords. I'm quite thrilled at the fact that a neutral has been accosted. I'd like to take a leave and check it out. I may also visit the joining area to recruit for our heard. I'll be back shortly.

With that, the massive stallion dipped his muzzle slightly then whipped around and thundered off, the pounding of each hoofbeat revealing his growing excitement.

Stallion rolled his eyes at the retreating stallion. "And the sneaks against Firelight have all been stoped to my knowledge." He said his words semi loudly. Really not caring if the stallion could hear him. He returned his gaze to Shadow.

Upon his return, the steely steed graces the other stallion with a malevolent glare. He, too, gives a sarcastic roll of his ebon eyes, then promptly turns away, presenting a muscled rump and agitatidly swishing tassel. But he shruggs off his annoyance at the arrogant stag, for he had learned some very valuable information while traveling out of the bounds of his herd. He had stored away some intersting tidbits and facts, to be used to his advantage in the future. He glances around for his mate and her child, but to no result. He grins wickedly, thinking he must have scared the filly away, then heads toward the edge of the forest in curiosity, wondering where his mare has gone.
