Cynic’s slender body quakes as the shadowy vixen closes in. Her closeness was intoxicating, as was her voice. His heart rate quickens, as he listens, trying to force her presence out of his mind. Twin peak turn slightly, taking in the words. Unsure of his answer he studies her carefully. Perhaps I hadn’t spotted the beauty of the pearl yet? She cocks an onyx hoof and tilts her refined head, listening interestedly to the steed's answer. She whickers softly and holds his gaze with her alluring eyes. Suddenly, tiny ears snap to attention and teacup prow rises to catch the wind. Her sharp eyes discern a towering, storm-colored stallion, and her statuesque body tenses. She snorts and whips around to thunder loyally back to her mate. Her satin tail flags a farewell, though, and she whinnies a musical goodbye before returning to Killjoy.

Azure pools gaze intently at the retreating figure. Pallid beast sighs silently. Black pearl was something eles...But she was also someone eleses...no that Cynic wanted her or anything.
