Things had changed since he had last seen the Shadow Vale. Things had changed all over. His scar adorned body carried him swiftly into these lands. He remembered the mare that had helped to ease his pain so, and take on his scars. The battle that raged in the war was tough, no doubt, but Nameless was the one who was still able to walk when all was done. This could not be said for his opponent.

He called out for the mare, her name was still fresh in his head. "Gingerbread." He did not know so much about her. But what he remembered, he still knew, and wouldn't forget. She saved his life by risking her own.
