.Dark clouds became a turmulant mass, roiling over the sky, which was dark with a natural iniquity. Beneath it, a lone stallion stood, long, fine limbs stretch, the beauty and arrogane haunting his facade, deep oscilliation relased through fluttering valves into the cold evening winds. Suddenly his haunches contracted, sending him forward rapidly, hooves digging into the turf, tossing it almost lazily up. He drew himself to a halt, chassis silhouetted against the heavens, which were streaked with the pink and gold of a rising sun.

"Firelight."

The word was quiet, simple. And he gave no hint as to how he knew the matriarch's name, only a simple bowed head, orbs rimmed with white, ears flicked half-way back, muscles tense.
