The golden maiden's heart was torn, to go or to stay. She looked out from where she stood, ooids taking in the scene of the stallion. He was here! She struggled with herself, her need for him and her need to flee from this place. He over came her, a shrill cry burst from her mug. Sliven daggers pushed her from the trees and she stepped out. Not able to run to him, for she knew he would be hurt by her depature. So she stood staring at him, hoping to meet his eyes. Words were whispered upon the wind, her heart in them.

"oh,firelight...it's really you..." :

Golden flamed fatale gave a long sigh of relif. He didn't hate her. Another cry of joy escaped her muzzle as he came towards her she bolted towards him. She felt his touch, her pelt shivered and she pressed her own ebony speckled mug against his chest.

Yes.. it is. I'm sorry.

She repeated again, never could she have thought how strong her feelings were towards him. She didn't even realize how much he pulled at her.

His words struck her deep. Never, had anyone cared enough to speak words allowed to her, with so much meaning in them. She pressed further against him, gold skull coming up and over his shoulder. Her lean frame pressed against him, mug buried into his mane. She wanted to make sure he was really there, not something she had conjured up to fight the lonlieness.

Never, never again..

Words were almost harsh, except spoken with such a softness they couldn't be. She took a deep sigh, breathing in his scent. She couldn't ever be away from him again either.

She shuddered softly as he nipped her hide lightly. Resting her crania against his well muslced shoulder. His masculine scent filled her coral lined nasal cavaties, as she drew breath in. Words began to fill her now perked towers. She listened a light smile flickered across her features. As there was the question she drew back to face him. Her deep deep chocolate ooids met his. Trust, love, devotion, and more swam in them. Never had she felt this way about her old mate, never could she have.

I could not say no. Of course I will be your mate.

Playful grin lit in her ooids and she stretched out her sinewy neck to playfully nip as his shoulder. As she pulled back she let her muzzle drag across his, wuffing deeply.

A grin was creased across her features. As he touched her again her frame became more relaxed, towers pricked at hearing those words. Her response was instant, no thought needed. I love you to dark shadow voice was sweet with truth. She could stay like this ,with him, forever but she had other duties. Somehow though they weren't as important as they should be. Noticing the new arrivals ears swiveled towards them for a moment. With a soft sigh she pulled back her ooids meeting his.

I must go see to the new arrivals m'love. She smirked lightly as she nipped his shoulder again. Lean stilts turned her frame towards the two newbies. Be right back.. she called as she moved away.

: the newbies had kept on pouring in,hadn't they? oh well. it had to happen some time, he knew they couldn't stand there forever...though it was bliss to have done so. hearing those words from her was...amazing, to say the least. watching her move away, the brute was struck by her flawlessness once again. how he ended up with one so perfect he did not know, but wouldn't question it. as the happenings between she and marz took place, he only smirked. how could he be mad when the other spoke truth? but now marz was under observation by dark.shadow. he wasn't a jealous type, but when you have something priceless you keep a good wtch on it in fear of letting it slip away. and he wasn't going to let firelight slip away. till death do they part...hopefully :

I'm gonna be gone for a few days. I got a new computer and the internet isn't up. I'm on my dad's laptop right now and it's not all that great to attempt to post on. So yea.. I'll be back in a few days or at least give you an update on the situation. Ciao.
