The dark gold vixen cut a nice figure as she stood in the last rays of the dieing sun. Skull was tilted up, nostrils flared scenting the slight breeze for any smell. Nay, wolves dared not trek these parts, nor was the herd in to much danger but you never knew. The Lights might actual wake up and realize "hey the Rebels attacked us, we should get them back." Psh like that would ever happen.
Auds were perked atop poll one facing either direction. Large liquid brown ooids gave her nearly 360 degree vision, she saw about eveything. Behind her was the herd, in front was the world lay out to be explored. Why she had ever wanted to be a herd leader was now beyond her.
No, she knew why. It was for the respect you were given, it seemed the best way. If you wanted to earn the respect of any group or any one equine become a Leader. Either that or stick around for a long time OR get in with those who have power. She would rather have power then hang around those with it. Though through them you could make things happen if you wished. But she could be a show-off, if she was to make a change she wanted everyone to know SHE made it.
She heaved a sigh, so that was why she had chosen this path. Respect, to change the world around her to one she felt more fitting. Alas, and to have adventure! That was what she wanted to most, to fufill her curiousity of that around her. Why did creature's do this, and why think like this, why this, and why that. Hence the idea of a Raid, to go and do something be ambitious and spotaneous. You have one life go and live it. Maybe once positions in her herd filled she could leave for a few weeks, go adventure in wolf or dragon terra's once more. After all her mother did, why couldn't she?
The golden beauty yeiled to her weariness and let her hip slip to be more comfortable. Cranium relaxed, muscles became less tense as she settled for the night. One eye remained half open, ears remained cocked. She wouldn't be one to be caught off her gaurd.
