When none immediately come to challenge his entrance, the colt is not only more than a little puzzled but is also quite disdainful about the system - or lack thereof. Even he, his features so clearly marked by youth, realizes that this insufficiency of greetings means more than just the 'laziness' of the herd members to come, find him, and say the basic hellos; it is also a representation of the much larger, dreadful picture called inactivity. Turning slowly, so as to take a moment for one last scope of the land, Arvad picks up his hooves and moves out with the willingness of a foal to try and try again.

Halted by the sudden presence of the stallion, the colt's eyes remain strictly on the other's face even as he itches to study freely. "No thank you," he responds at last, his words curling upon themselves such as a resting, though wary, serpent might coil its lengthy self. "I already reside elsewhere; I just wished to visit." Allowing his eyes freedom, they wander a straight horizon away from the stallion and once again over the land. "Is your territory always so empty?" He inquires innocently.

~Steed shrugs, if at all possible for a horse.~ They may wander out of the terra for personal reasons. Breeding, finding a mate, perhaps even to steal another. That's all I know of so far from personal experiance. They have their reasons, I will not trouble then to find out.

He nods reluctantly, but his lips twitch with another question that is soon voiced. "But shouldn't you know what's happening with your herd members? I mean... shouldn't you know at least where they are?"
