ForMe.... I didnt carry my child for 9 months.... then
gave birth .... and raised a child....for him/her to
go overseas to fight a war!!!! I would NOT allow my
kid to go.... Glad the border to Canada is not that
far away!!!!

I have to strongly disagree with you about soldiering in foreign wars. That is the responsibility that comes with being the world leader. If we allow other nations to be trodden upon by skeevie skum like Osama Bin Laden it opens opportunity to attack our shores.

On the other hand, if you'd rather your child lay passage to another nation to avoid serving that is your right. I don't refute that with you. However, I hope your "of age" child would choose to serve. Out of pride and responsibility as so many fine Americans have through the centuries. I hope you would choose to support that child in that difficult decision, no matter what it would be. Your post makes you sound like a fine mother. Concerned for all the children. There are children in all nations that need our watchful eye.
