18日記者從市教育局獲悉：著名影視紅星「小燕子」趙薇將從今年下半年起拿出個人收入設立趙薇獎學助學基金，以回報愛護關心她成長的家鄉父老。
趙薇表示：設立獎學助學基金的目的是為了報答江城蕪湖給她的養育和幫助，促進我市教育的不斷發展，積極為青少年辦實事。趙薇獎學助學基金將用於獎勵一些成績優異、家庭條件困難的學生，解決一批寒門學子的學費負擔問題。
趙薇助學金申請條件為本市市區家庭困難的在校中小學生；沒有受過學校紀律處分；每學期考試成績滿足校方制訂的升級和畢業要求；沒有享受其他相類似的助學金資助；由於突發事件處於極度困境的本市（市區）學生。獎學金申請條件為本市初中、高中應屆優秀畢業生，在國家級學科競賽、科技創新大賽等活動特別優秀的及有明顯特殊專長的本市學生。
即將於下半年發放的趙薇獎學助學基金為首批，暫定發放助學金60名，獎學金若干名。助學獎學金額分為400元/人、600元/人、800元/人和1000元/人四個級別，根據不同情況進行發放。國家級學科競賽、科技創新大賽成績特別優秀及有明顯特殊專長的學生和由於突發事件處於極度困境的學生，這兩種情況獎助人數由基金管理委員會根據各單位申報的具體情況審定。
