因執導電影「鬼子來了」、而被大陸官方批為親日、一度無法再導戲的大陸知名導演、也是影帝的姜文，最近解禁了!他將在今年下半年，執導新片「林海雪原」，這部以二次大戰為背景、敘述國共軍隊既抗日、又彼此牽制的電影，場景將非常浩大，將是大陸今年最大成本的電影，姜文仍自任男主角，而女主角現鎖定趙薇，目前姜文正在趕最後的定稿劇本。

姜文執導的「鬼子來了」在千禧年的坎城影展榮得評審團大獎，但因私自參展，且內容被評為親日，所以非但這部電影至今在大陸被禁，且三年多來完全被封殺。

不過時間總會沖淡一切，時隔三年多後，但在大陸官方「不經意」的透露下，姜文終於解禁了，而他「復出」後的第一部作品，將是改編目前在大陸網路上非常受歡迎的小說「林海雪原」，至於出資者則還是當年投資「鬼子來了」的大陸企業家董平。

如同「鬼子來了」一樣，現階段姜文仍決定自編、自導、且自演，而女主角則鎖定趙薇。姜文曾與趙薇合作「綠茶」，對趙薇的敬業投入與靈活演技十分欣賞。
