「少林足球」美國版海報營造出強烈的「動作」、「特效」感覺。

延宕兩年，周星馳的「少林足球」終於要在八月初在美國上映。發行本片的米拉麥克斯公司把影片海報重新設計，除了原本香港版的星爺大腳踢球外，連趙薇發威的神氣模樣也上了海報，營造出濃厚的「特效感」。

很喜歡購買非英語發音影片，卻也很喜歡亂剪這些影片的米拉麥克斯，早在二年前「少林足球」在香港大賣時，就已經取得北美發行權，只是老外觀眾苦苦等候，始終不見電影上映，而米拉麥克斯把星爺的心血胡剪一通的謠傳更時有所聞。去年坎城影展，米拉麥克斯將英語版「少」片展現在公眾眼前，雖然配樂略有更動，影片也非港版原貌，卻還算不差，至少精華都有保留。當時又有人預測「少」片可望在之後的暑假檔現身，誰知米拉麥克斯還是放了影迷一次鴿子，再次將「少」片檔期無限延後。

今年「少林足球」盛傳將在八月初上映，已經對米拉麥克斯不抱希望的美國觀眾，無不懷疑可能又會被耍，現在海報確定出爐，也已在各大戲院現身，觀眾的憂心不致成真。倒是米拉麥克斯對「少」片最重視的是「功夫」與「特效」的部分，把海報弄得類似好萊塢科幻片一般炫目，不知觀眾進場後是否會覺得被「誤導」？
